Covid-19 Policies

As a therapy client, your health and safety is top priority. This includes both mental health and physical health and wellbeing. The Center for Transformation and Renewal currently provides both in person and virtual sessions for clients. Your therapist will work with you to determine the best fit for your needs when you schedule your session. Please note that in person sessions are at the discretion of your therapist and may be temporarily discontinued based on recommendations from the CDC or other public health agencies. The Center for Transformation and Renewal, has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 for in person sessions; however, The Center for Transformation and Renewal cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending in-person appointments for therapy could increase your risk of contacting COVID-19.

It is our policy that clients notify their therapist as soon as possible prior to their appointment if any of the following have occurred:
-You have experienced known COVID-19 symptoms (including, but. not limited to, fever of 100.0 or greater, dry cough, difficulty breathing, abnormal fatigue, loss of taste or smell) within the past 14 days.
-You have been diagnosed with Covid-19 within the past 14 days.
-A member of your household has experienced known symptoms of COVID-19, or been diagnosed with COVID-19, within the past 14 days.
-Yourself, or a member of your household, has knowingly been in contact with someone with Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
-You have traveled outside of the country, or to a known Covid-19 "hot spot" within the United States, within the past 30 days.
-You have reason to suspect that you have been infected with or exposed to Covid-19.

After notifying your therapist of any of the above, please understand that your therapist will most likely recommend a virtual appointment for the health and safety of staff and other clients.

Thank you for your understanding and shared commitment to health and wellbeing.
